MKTHIVE — 690 roles across 20 disciplines, rebuilt daily

About MKTHIVE

A better way
to find what's
next.

We started MKTHIVE because looking for marketing work had become worse than doing it.

The job boards we were using treated marketing as a single category, sat somewhere below engineering and above “other”. A brand director and a paid social freelancer were shown the same feed. Salaries were hidden. Half the listings were agencies fishing for CVs.

Meanwhile the best roles were moving quietly — in group chats, in newsletters, in DMs between people who had worked together before. That works if you already know everyone. It's a closed door if you don't.

MKTHIVE is an attempt to open it: one place, marketing only, where the roles are real, the pay is published and every listing looks the same.

How we think about it

Four principles

01

Fewer, better

We would rather show you eleven roles you might actually take than a thousand you'll scroll past. Curation is the product.

02

Pay, in writing

We lead with compensation wherever a company publishes it, and say so plainly where they don't. That is why you can filter on it and trust what you see.

03

One kind of listing

Every role is presented the same way, with the same information, in the same format. Nothing is buried and nothing is dressed up.

04

No dark patterns

No account required to look. No fake urgency, no invented view counts, no CV database, no emails you didn't ask for.

Who it's for

Marketers who are good at this and know it. People between roles, people quietly looking, freelancers building a run of work, operators who want three days a week instead of five.

And the companies willing to say what they pay.

The Brief — every Thursday

What’s worth knowing in marketing, weekly.

A weekly read for people who do marketing for a living. Written, not generated — and worth opening whether or not you are looking for a job.

Free. Written by hand, not generated. One click to stop — and we never sell the list.

The Brief Every Thursday
The Read

One thing worth understanding this week — a shift in a channel, a platform change, a number that moved and why.

Teardown

One piece of work, pulled apart. What the team was actually trying to do, and whether it worked. Not an awards roundup.

Moves

Who is building a marketing team right now, who just left one, and what that usually tells you about where a company is headed.

A sample issue. The roles are open on MKTHIVE right now; the rest of each week is written by hand.
